Palace and Park Schönbusch

Here on the southwestern edge of Aschaffenburg it’s hard to imagine how busy this modern city really is, nor how industrious the Mainhafen harbour area. Park Schönbusch, less than three kilometres southwest of the old town, is - along with the pheasant farm, Park Schöntal, as well as the landscape gardens belonging to the palace, the Pompeiianum and the Kapuchin monastery - a wonderful oasis of peace and very well worth a visit.
